I’m so glad you’re here. Since 2013, I’ve been documenting love, connection, and life’s wonderfully imperfect moments across Lake Macquarie and beyond.
My approach is simple: keep things relaxed, give gentle guidance, and create space for your real story to unfold.
If you’re after photos that feel natural, joyful, and authentic, you’re in the right place.
Wedding — “Melissa was an absolute dream to have as our photographer. She blended in so effortlessly that half the time we didn’t even realise we were being photographed. Our photos feel warm, genuine, and full of those beautiful in-between moments we didn’t even know were happening. We’re completely obsessed and couldn’t recommend her more highly!” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Your wedding day is a whirlwind of emotion — joy, nerves, happy tears, deep belly laughs, and all the little in-between moments you’ll want to remember forever.
My wedding photography is calm, candid, and story-driven. I focus on capturing how the day felt: the look on your partner’s face as you walk down the aisle, the squeeze of your parent’s hand, the moment your best friend cracks up during speeches, and the quiet seconds you share together when no one else is watching.
With a relaxed approach and gentle direction when needed, I blend seamlessly into your day so you can be fully present while I preserve the memories that truly matter.
Every family has its own rhythm — from sandy beach adventures to backyard giggles, shy cuddles to wild toddler energy, teens pretending not to enjoy it (but totally do), and grown-up kids coming home for a visit.
My family photography sessions are relaxed, playful, and full of genuine connection. No forced smiles, no stiff poses — just the real dynamics that make your family yours. I’ll guide you when needed, but mostly I’m there to help you have fun, interact naturally, and enjoy time together.
The result? Warm, timeless images filled with personality, emotion, and stories your family will treasure for years to come.

Life is filled with moments worth celebrating — birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, gender reveals, reunions, corporate events, and everything in between.
My event photography is unobtrusive, warm, and detail-focused. I capture the atmosphere, the people, the laughter, the décor, and all the spontaneous moments that make your event memorable.
Whether it’s a small intimate gathering or a lively celebration, I’ll help you preserve the story of the day so you can relive it long after the last guest has gone home.
Working with me isn’t about perfect poses — it’s about capturing what feels authentic.
You can expect:
A relaxed, friendly, low-pressure session
Gentle direction that keeps things natural
Locations chosen to reflect your style
Beautiful light and warm, timeless tones
Fast turnaround times
Images that feel like you
My goal is always the same: to help you feel comfortable so your real connection shines through.

I believe the best moments happen in between the poses — the wind-tangled hair, the unexpected giggles, the tight hugs, the happy tears, the quiet pauses.
My style blends:
Documentary storytelling
Gentle guidance
Natural emotion
Authentic colours and tones
A calm, friendly presence
Whether you’re walking down the aisle, wrangling toddlers, or celebrating a milestone, I focus on capturing your experience as it truly felt.

Sessions start at $350
Weddings are custom-quoted to suit your day.
Many sunset and weekend dates fill quickly, especially in warmer months, so if you’re thinking about booking, now’s the perfect time.
Weddings often book 6–18 months ahead, especially for popular dates and seasons. Family, maternity, and newborn sessions typically book 2–8 weeks in advance. Sunset times and weekends fill quickly, so reaching out early is always best.
I’ll guide you through outfit choices that photograph beautifully — think soft tones, simple patterns, and pieces that feel like “you.” Once booked, you’ll receive styling tips to help you coordinate without looking too “matchy.”
Cloudy days are actually amazing for photos — soft light, no squinting!
If it’s rainy or unsafe, we simply reschedule at no extra cost. For at-home sessions or newborn shoots, weather won’t affect us at all.
Absolutely. Almost everyone feels that way at first! My sessions are relaxed and guided, with gentle prompts so you never feel stiff or unsure. Most people end up forgetting the camera is even there.
You’ll receive your full online gallery quickly — usually within 1 week for sessions and 2 weeks for weddings. Sneak peeks are often sent earlier so you can relive the excitement.
Yes! Your gallery includes the option to order beautiful professional prints, frames, and custom-designed albums. These are heirloom-quality pieces designed to last for generations.
Whether you’re planning a wedding, updating your family photos, or celebrating a milestone, I’d love to help you freeze this season in time.
