Athena and Mitchell’s wedding at Dutchies Beach in Port Stephens was nothing short of magical. As a Port Stephens wedding photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, these two tied the knot in the most heartfelt ceremony before heading into a night filled with joy, laughter, and some seriously impressive dance moves. From start to finish, their day was relaxed, romantic, and full of fun — just like them.
One of the most unforgettable moments? The epic Shoal Bay sunset we were gifted that evening. With the sky glowing in shades of pink, gold, and deep orange, Athena and Mitchell snuck away for golden-hour portraits that truly felt like they were straight out of a dream. As a Shoal Bay wedding photographer, I love capturing these in-between moments — when nature shows off and couples get to pause, breathe, and soak it all in together.
Once the sun dipped behind the horizon, it was time to hit the dance floor — and let me tell you, their guests did not hold back! The room was alive with energy, laughter, and some of the best dance moves I’ve ever seen at a wedding. It was the perfect way to celebrate a couple who loves to have fun together.
